Dora's Remarkable Journey. A Relentless Overcomer

Astrid published her first book in 2018, titled: La travesía de Dora, caminante incansable. After translating it, she published it in English at the end of 2019, under the title: "Dora's Remarkable Journey". This peculiar biographical narrative describes the life of Dora, a Costa Rican woman of rural origin, who, having gone through torrents of pain, still views life with an amazing positivity and an unshakable faith in God. Dora's courage to acknowledge her serious mistakes and let the author share them with other women is something that uplifts and inspires the reader.
"The Prison of My Words"
In 2020 Astrid published her second book titled: La cárcel de mis palabras (The Prison of My Words). In this autobiographical narrative, she talks with great sincerity about the power of words and tells how her negativity and grumbling prolonged her single life for decades. It is a hopeful story that reflects how God's love can transform the grayest areas of a person if allowed. The English version of this book will be available at the end of June 2022.
